A statue depicting Jesus bearing the cross on his way to his crucifixion, vintage but unusedIts main color is a brownish red, but blue, yellow, and green are also usedThere are many details down to knots in the wood of the cross; flowers are sprouting up at Jesus' feet, symbolizing Him as the bringer of lifeIt was made by Creations Bella, who provided statues to St. Joseph's Oratory in Montreal and other religious institutions, as part of their "Collection David" seriesThey discontinued the statue years ago leaving it in the upstairs of their warehouse where I was lucky enough to pick it up

Its base is 7 1/4" wide, 4" deep, and it is 7 3/4" at its highest point
